Grass x Grass Launch: Asian Americans in Cannabis
Our #AsianAmericansinCannabis community is rapidly growing and it’s exciting how far we’ve come. We’re connecting, collaborating, and amplifying each other’s voices. When I first joined the industry about five years ago, there were basically no Asians, which is why I started Asian Americans for Cannabis Education with Tiffany Wu and Ophelia Chong, with the goal of changing the public perception through our images, stories, and research.
Fast forward to 2019—I’m honored to be a part of the inaugural episode of Grass x Grass. I sat down to dinner with my peers and discussed our personal experiences as Asian Americans in the cannabis industry. Grass x Grass is a content platform to inspire and empower Asian Americans to work with, heal with, and openly enjoy cannabis.
Episode 1 Features:
Geraldine Mae Cueva, Founder of Art and Times of Chill
Monica Lo, Founder of Sous Weed
Haejin Chun, Founder of Big Bad Wolf
Jordan Lam, General Manager of Permanent Holiday
Grass x Grass is created by Slide 32, Amnesia Media and Hubert Lamela.
